The ideal team member we are seeking has gained a solid foundation of core server-side technologies including Windows Server and associated networking, storage, and backup services. The ideal candidate will approach troubleshooting issues via a logic-based process with clear & professional communications, detailed ticket management, and thorough documentation skills.

Daily duties are focused around providing end-user support, with tasks ranging from simple password resets and application issues through to server/virtual machine deployments, networking, Azure, and Office 365 services covering practically the entire Microsoft product stack. This role includes an after-hours on-call support-shift rotation monthly which may include occasional planned and emergency after-hours support.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years working for/within an MSP
  • 2-3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure
  • 3 years of Microsoft Office 365 – System-level administration
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism
  • Lifelong learner
  • Great communication skills and understanding of business value with business and IT development
  • Having the ability to work independently without needing constant supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities of this position:

  • Being able to manage 15-20 clients for tier-3 level support
  • Act as a middleman for tier 1 & 2 colleagues by providing guidance
  • Providing excellent customer service skills and the ability to go above and beyond for our clients
  • Troubleshooting
  • Be able to take on tasks through the ticketing system and seeing it through to the end
  • Ability to be able to multiple tasks and juggle multiple clients needs at one time
  • Being a team player and always prepared to help when needed.
