We’re seeking a Junior Inside Sales specialist to join our Guelph based team. Candidates should be based in the Guelph to Barrie Ontario area in order to manage on-site expectations, in particular during the probation period. Some remote work is possible once employees are working independently. This position is not part of a commission structure as its primarily in-bound inside sales. A base salary between $50K to 60K is offered in addition to bonus/profit share, full benefits and vacation allotment.

Responsibilities include:

Quoting and Pricing:

  • Prepare and deliver accurate and competitive price quotes for IT products and services.
  • Collaborate with vendors to obtain pricing information and negotiate favorable terms.

Sourcing and Procurement:

  • Source IT hardware, software, and services from various vendors.
  • Evaluate suppliers and negotiate procurement contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Microsoft 365 Licensing:

  • Specialize in Microsoft 365 licensing and stay updated on licensing models and changes.
  • Advise clients on the most suitable Microsoft 365 plans based on their business needs.

Relationship Management:

  • Help build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Help address client inquiries and concerns, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay informed about the latest IT products, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Provide clients with expert advice on the best solutions to meet their specific requirements.

Sales Presentations:

  • Create compelling sales presentations to showcase the value proposition of the company's IT solutions.
  • Help the team conduct virtual or in-person product demonstrations for potential clients.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation activities.
  • Prospect and qualify potential clients to expand the customer base.

Order Processing:

  • Efficiently process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to streamline order processing workflows.

Sales Reporting:

  • Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance against targets.
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, trends, and opportunities.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, technical support, and finance.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination to meet customer needs.

Pipeline Management:

  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from lead to closure.
  • Prioritize and strategize to maximize revenue generation.

To fit this role, candidates should have:

  • High level of proficiency in written communication
  • Excellent communication by phone, comfortable talking with clients
  • Good level of PC skills with ability to quickly learn new tools and technology
  • Understanding of basic PC & network connectivity, familiar with how desktop components connect
  • Basic understanding of software licensing such as Adobe and M365
