MBC, powered by MBC Corp, is a Managed IT Service provider, and we service Small to Medium-sized businesses in Toronto & the GTA. We are looking for a Tier 2 Technician to join our team and help provide a delightful IT experience for our customers.

The System/Network Administrator - Tier 2 will work on the escalations team and handle all complex client issues escalated from our Level 1 help desk. Our escalation team is the last line of defense for support and should be able to solve any problem that could come up in our client infrastructure. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working with people.

This role is based out of our Richmond Hill office; however, a Hybrid work-from-home model is also used. Additionally, travel around the GTA may be required occasionally to visit our customers. The candidate must have experience with the technologies below to succeed in the role. We are a Microsoft Gold Partner & Cisco partner and utilize these technologies. This role is based out of our Richmond Hill office.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day troubleshooting and resolution of Escalated incidents
  • Monitor and address NOC alerts
  • Dispatch to client sites to resolve urgent and critical incidents
  • Provide clear and direct communication to clients with regular updates
  • Participate in an on-call Escalations rotation
  • Maintain and update service tickets in your queue
  • Compile SOPs to help expand the knowledge base
  • Deploy agile projects on as needed basis
  • Complete required certifications as outlined in letter of agreement
