The Managing Director oversee day to day operations; liaising with clients, driving strategic company growth, and are responsible for the overall performance the business unit.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals for the business.
  • Reporting to the MSP Corp team, providing local expertise, insights, and advice.
  • Developing and implementing business plans to improve cost-efficiency.
  • Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with local employees, clients, and the community they operate in.
  • Overseeing the company's local business operations, financial performance, clientele, and community ventures.
  • Supervising, guiding, and delegating effectively to their local team.
  • Ensuring company policies, standards, and legal guidelines are clearly communicated and followed.
  • Assessing, managing, and resolving problematic developments and situations.
  • Leading the building and enhancing of the company's public profile on social media, at events, community engagements, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Managed IT Services and general business management.
  • Experience in leading, engaging, and mentoring the local team.
  • Cultivating strong relationships with employees, clients, and community groups.
  • Experience developing and implementing business strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing data to inform or update strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partners.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, employees, and clients.

Working Conditions

  • Full time, salaried role in office and remotely when possible.
  • Role requires local travel and limited regional travel.
  • Candidates should be based in or around the London ON area for regular office access.
