Softlanding is looking for an experienced Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal team member is experienced in Microsoft centric infrastructure and cloud environments with the ability to clearly articulate the business value of security solutions to our clients.
Over-view of responsibilities includes:
- Reviewing current system security measures, recommending and implementing enhancements
- Excellent client-facing presentation skills to deliver meeting content, workshops, webinars, etc.
- Conducting regular system tests and ensuring continuous monitoring of network security
- Developing project timelines for ongoing security enhancements
- Deploying Microsoft Sentinel SIEM solutions and tuning as required
- Understanding of the Microsoft Defender tools
- Configuration of custom SIEM connectors, threat intelligence feeds and hunting tactics
- Developing security dashboards and workbooks
- Escalation point for security alerts
Nice to have:
- Azure Infrastructure experience
- Microsoft 365 management capabilities
- Understanding of Intune policies
- Experience with penetration testing solutions
- Understanding of Microsoft licensing around security
- Microsoft security certification(s) or equivalent
Deliverables:
- Implementation of Azure Sentinel and associated Defender toolsets
- Deployment of workbooks, SIEM log queries and playbooks
